Stefan Steinberger

Stefan Steinberger

Founder | CEO

Stefan is the initiator of refugees{code}. He knows everything and he’s got a tight grip at refugees{code} and all its participants. Even though coming from the private sector, the education sector is where he fits in just perfectly. Additionally to his intricate understanding of economics, meanwhile, he’s also starting to code himself.

Alexander Hartveld

Alexander Hartveld

Daniela’s career so far has been just as varyied and diverse as she is herself. It is her motivation, goal-oriented and analytical point of view, which make  her indispensable.

Daryl Chou

Daryl’s path had stages in project management for big events like “chancenreich”, and in overall communication for events, before finally leading us into our arms. As a link between management and organization, she knows what’s going on. She has a great amount of experience and considerable knowledge in the field of pedagogics. Sincere and kind, but persistent and determinded as well, she’s got us under control. She’s a great asset for refugees{code}, especially when it comes to creating structure.

Christoph Tockner

Christoph Tockner

CFO

Some say you get know people best over drinks, and with Christoph, that was nearly the case. During his studies at “WU Wien” he collaborated with us in creating our business plan, and everybody who is as diligent with a business plan as him is right for us. Stefan thought so too, and so he brought this inquisitive youngster on board. Now he’s become a valuable asset, reliable, organized and full of beans.

Florian Schwarz

Florian Schwarz

Operations & Finance

Florian joined us in September 2016. Being versatile quickly made him become the leader of operations. If it ever happens that there’s something that he can’t do, it’s only a matter of days until he can. Besides his grasp of economics and finance, he has a talent for marketing. Moreover, he could tell our participant’s schedules if you’d wake him in the middle of the night.

Anna Asllani

Anna Asllani

Communications/Chief Happiness Officer

Even at her tender age, the young Viennese with Albanian roots is already showing tons of talent when it comes to communication. Besides being gifted in holding the team together and entangle its members in social activities, she has a talent for words and writing, too. For us, this happy soul with the eagle eyes and open ears has become indispensable.

Nisreen Al Mahmood

Nisreen Al Mahmood

Administration & Recruiting

Nisreen joined us shortly after our first course. She has many years of experience in Administration & Recruitement in the Arabian Gulf area which she gladly shares with us. She is a hard working woman who is willing to contribute to our courses in any way she can. We are delighted to have Nisreen on board and are thankful that she can offer Arab women’s perspective.

Harriet Larcher De Brito Smith

Harriet Larcher De Brito Smith

Community Manager

Despite her young age, Harriet already brings a lot to the table. Even while she – a Portuguese national with South African roots – was still studying biology in Lisbon, she already took her first steps as a social entrepreneurby co-launching an award-winning, non-profit organization called “Transformers Movement”. She’s meeting her challenges both professionally and autonomously, and the results speak for themselves. Her pleasant demeanor is not only popular with our participants.
